The Company:
Our client is one of the largest leisure management companies in the UK.
They currently operate over 50 sports & leisure facilities and are continuing to expand their business.
The Role:
We are supporting them in recruiting an Area Manager who will be responsible for managing three sports & leisure centres. Included within this is a brand new purpose built centre.
You will be responsible for the full management of the newly developed facility, as well as overseeing two other leisure complexes.
Working with the Regional Director, you will also play a key part in managing the client relationship with the local authority.
Other key elements of this role will be managing a large team of staff and motivating them to deliver excellent customer service to all customers.
You will be commercially minded and able to drive income whilst managing and controlling costs.
The Person:
We are looking for a General Manager with experience of running a large leisure facility or related leisure business.
You will be able to demonstrate a track record of success and have the strength of character and personality to manage a large team of staff, whilst working with all members of the community.
You will be comfortable at managing all financial aspects of the business.
