The Company:
Our client is a company that specialises in property development as well as having a number of additional business interests.
One of their key businesses is an established Golf & Country Club which has 36 holes, over 1,000 golfing members and nearly 3,000 health & fitness members.
The company are looking to develop this facility into a far higher profile business and will be raising standards across the board, as well as greatly improving the product on offer.
The Position:
The new General Manager of this business will have the ability to review the entire operation and implement processes to raise standards and generate additional income.
Will entail working closely with the key heads of department, to ensure that all areas of the business are pulling together.
Expectations across the club are already high, but your role will be raise them further and work with the members to develop the success of this club.
All key income streams will need developing, with key focuses on - membership, food & beverage and corporate/golf days.
The individual we are looking for:
Will have previously managed a multi faceted leisure business.
An understanding of managing golf businesses is desirable, although not essential.
A background within hotels and/or food & beverage would also be beneficial in order to develop the business into the conferencing and banqueting market.
Commercial experience of driving multiple revenue streams.
Pro-active approach to driving sales into the business.
The Salary:
